SUPPORTING PATIENTS WITH LIFE SAVING DONATIONS
Wagner community members stepped up once again this August, showing that compassion and action go hand in hand. At the latest Wagner Community Blood Drive, 23 units of blood were collected from 2 generous donors - enough to support up to 69 patients in local hospitals.
Busting Myths: Too many people sit out blood drives because of outdated myths. “I take medication.” “I’m too old.” “I just got a tattoo.” The truth? Most people CAN donate - and with only 3% of the population donating, we need more people to step up. With travel-related accidents and trauma cases on the rise, your donation could be the difference between life and death for someone right here in our community.
Special Thanks: Life-Serve extends our sincere appreciation to the Team at Wagner Community Memorial Hospital for organizing and to Wagner Fire Department for hosting this crucial event. Your support keeps lifesaving resources where they’re needed most - right here in the community.
