WAGNER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MONTHLY MEETING AGENDA MONDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, 2022 NOON TWO SPURS Call to Order - Meeting commenced at 12:16pm - Mike Frei led meeting Welcome Guests - No guests Shouts Outs - Mike Frei thanked all the sponsors that have volunteered at the football and volleyball games this season. The players and coaches appreciate it!

- Carly: Northwest Vet held a customer appreciation hamburger feed for local farmers during the combining season. There were 150 burgers sold and next year Northwest Vet is hoping to serve more customers next year!

Approval of Minutes -First, Cheryl Giedd -Second, Michele Juffer - Motion Approved Approval of Financial Report - Slower month with only a few chamber bunks and advertising payments - 35,848.81 - First, Lori Dufrain - Second, Marla Hewitt - Motion Approved Halloween Home Decorating Contest!

- Please send a picture of your decorated home - Voting opened up NOW until the 28th!! Winner will be announced on the 28th!

- Business Categories: Scariest, Funniest and Most Creative - Winner will get winning sign to be displayed in their lawns - Enter Online via Chamber Facebook and make sure to vote for the best Halloween decorated Home!

Halloween - Trick or Treat on Main Street!

- October 31st from 4pm-5:30pm - All businesses are encouraged to participate!

- Games, music and fun! Bring your family!

Swimming Pool Fundraiser - Come support the Wave pool fundraiser - Two nights! Saturday, October 22 showing IT and Saturday, October 29 showing IT 2 - Gates Open at 6pm - The event will be located at Wagner Speedway - $10/ person admission; Movie starts at dusk Christmas is just around the corner!!

Saturday, December 10…Theatre Holiday Market 10am-5pm - Please contact Ashtyn Blaha if you’re interested in a booth at the theater Parade of Lights..Friday, December 16 - Contact Lisa Schoenfelder - Line up at 5 and the parade starts at 5:30pm - Anyone in the community can enter a float!!

- Lisa encourages Main Street businesses to extend your business hours for the event Holiday Bucks - Chamber Dollars - Patty Frei: Motion to approve $50,000 in total - First, Gerritt Juffer - Second, Cheryl Giedd - Motion passed - Hoping to begin selling holiday bucks by mid November Hunting & Fishing/ Recreation National Walleye Tour NWT June 22-23 Thursday, Friday Master Walleye Circuit MWC August 25-26 Friday, Saturday - Fisherman are expected to arrive 2 weeks before - More information coming! Ribbon Cuttings planned..today Oct 16 at 1pm Ruthie’s Farmers Market - Michele has reached out to local Hutterite colonies to see if they are interested in organizing the event Sip and Shop - Event planning in progress Healthy Hometowns (contact Michele Juffer) -Great opportunity for the community!
