The December Chamber Meeting was held at Wagner Community School LDL Room on December 10, 2018.

Shout Outs: The parade of lights committee, have been hearing lots of buzz around town. Town & Country and This, That, & More for their Christmas decorations. The Wagner School for hosting the meeting.

Sales Tax Report: the sales tax trend line is going down. Shopko will be closing down within the next year, which will directly affect the sales tax that is collected.

2019 Budget: We have a rough draft put together, and will work on getting a final one before next month.

Membership Update: Dues are coming in, and the reminder was sent out in the mail for those who have not paid yet. We are looking at doing the store cards and the posters again this year. Kelsey is looking at ordering them in January.

Chamber Calendar Idea: Looking at putting a calendar together that would list the Chamber and community events, or something that would help get the word out about Chamber events.

Christmas Light Fundraiser: Santa in Wagner went well. Considering the option of using this event as the Christmas Light fundraiser. Looking at combining some of the holiday events for next year.

Wagner Area Growth: Looking for the annual funding request. Historically the Chamber has donated $10,000 to Wagner Area Growth. Motion made by Gerrit, Second by Becky. Motion Approved. The gala will be held January 18th. Get all nominations in ASAP.

2019 Election of Officers: 2019 President, Rachelis done. Kelsey nominated Laura Wright. Vote passed. Lucy Leines was nominated as to remain as vice-president. Vote passed. I need of new secretary. Mike Frei was nominated to stay on as Treasurer. Vote passed.
