The Red Raiders opened their season on Friday night against a very good Winner team. The Red Raiders came out hot, shooting the ball well and trailed 17-14 after the first period. Winner played much better defense the rest of the game and pulled away from the Red Raiders. Was trailed 37-21 at the half and lost the game 57-33. Preston McFayden led the team with 9 points, Matt Link added 6, Ted Slaba and Carter Cournoyer each scored 5, Chris Nelson, Glenn Cournoyer, Parker Petry and Braxton Knudesn each scored 2 points. Carter Cournoyer led the team with 6 rebounds. Wagner will be back in action Tuesday night in Irene
