In lieu of doing a gift exchange at the December 19th meeting of the Wagner American Legion Auxiliary, the ladies brought non-perishable food items to be donated to the Wagner ROCS food pantry. This has become an annual tradition for the Auxiliary.

The ladies also decided to do a school supply drive beginning in September and culminating in December. Instead of doing a traditional school supply donation at the beginning of the school year, they thought it might be more helpful to try to help resupply some of the classrooms mid-year in order to better serve the teaching staff and students at Wagner Community School. Barb Wiechmann generously offered to take the supplies to WCS after school resumes following Christmas break to have them dispersed to the classrooms that need them. The Auxiliary hopes to make this an annual tradition as well.
