In November of 2022, a fire at Wagner’s Good Samaritan Society caused a considerable amount of damage to several non-resident areas of the building. Since the fire, it has been the goal of the Wagner Good Samaritan Society to rebuild and reopen the facility in order to bring back vital services to the Wagner community.

Construction on the Wagner site will soon begin at the Wagner skilled nursing center with the highly anticipated reopening in the summer of 2025. This would not be possible without the overwhelming support of the Wagner community and the incredible commitment of the Good Samaritan Society team.

Construction crews are anticipated to begin work onsite starting in August. The renovated building will feature a new kitchen and dining area, upgraded flooring, lighting and larger bathrooms in the resident’s suites.
