A group of volunteers met at the Pioneer Cemetery on Saturday to remove the old deteriorating sidewalks.

The cement being very thin it seemed like a small task, but little did we know the pioneers had first dug a trench, filled it with field stones and then poured the concrete over the top. Many tons of rock later, two of the walkways were removed and ready for backfill.
