Plansareunderwayforthis year's Veterans Day Program whichwillbeheldWednesday, November 9 at 2:45 p.m., at the Avon School Gym with a special one-act play presentation by American Legion Auxiliary.

War Letters is a one act play in which the audience gets a look into the lives of a mother, a wife, and a daughter of a U.S. soldier deployed in Vietnam. Their lives and emotions unfold throughout a series of letters that are exchanged with their soldier, as this is their only form of communication available. For many of our older war veterans and their families, this was their reality.
