LifeServe Blood Center, the sole supplier of blood products to more than 120 hospitals in South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska, urgently needs donors to give blood to increase the local blood supply. Due to recent winter weather, most blood drives were cancelled and the blood supply has dipped to a critically low level. Currently, there is less than a two day supply of more than half of the blood types.
