TRIANGULAR AT TYNDALL

By
: Coach Samantha Boehmer

On Thursday May 9th, the Wagner Red Raiders traveled to Tyndall for a triangular with Avon and Bon Homme. In the first match-up the Red Raiders took on the Avon Lady Pirates. They started out with a lead in the top of the first, but were not able to hold on and fell to Avon, 4-19.

Mara Wright began pitching for the Red Raiders striking out one and walking three. Braxton Nedved came in halfway through the last inning to relieve Wright, walking one batter.

The Red Raiders collected five hits in the game with Brylie Link having two singles. Libby Kotab added a double, while Ravyn Medricky and Lydia Yost each contributed a single. Link and Medricky drove in the two runs for the Red Raiders with their at bats, an error on the Pirates brought in the other two runs, and Yost and Link each had a stolen base in the game.

Wagner then took on the Cavaliers in the second game of the night, but had trouble keeping up and lost 2-19. Hannah Holzbauer held the pitching duties for the Red Raiders, striking out five and walking twelve.

Libby Kotab singled, scored a run, drew a walk, and stole two bases in the game. Braxton Nedved hit a solo homerun, scored one run, drew a walk, and had an RBI in the game. Kayden Zephier also had an RBI in the game as well.
