The Wagner Red Raiders headed to Winner May 6th for a triangular with Bon Homme and Winner. It was yet another windy, cold, and rainy afternoon.

The Red Raiders fell 18-2 to the Cavaliers in the first game of the day. Braxton Nedved and Ravyn Medricky each collected a hit in the game, while Libby Kotab contributed a double. Sydney Cournoyer, Brooklin Nielsen, and Lydia Yost each walked once. Braxton Nedved started in the circle for the Red Raiders striking out one and walking seven. Hannah Holzbauer finished the game striking out two and walking ten.

In the second game of the night the Red Raiders lost a close one, 10-12, to Winner despite out-hitting them nine to three. It was a back and forth battle, but Wagner wasn’t able to hold them in the bottom of the fifth to secure the win. Lydia Yost led Wagner with three hits on the night, two singles and a double. Brylie Link added two singles, while Ravyn Medricky added a hard hit double. Libby Kotab, Braxton Nedved, and Mara Wright all contributed singles as well. Brooklin Nielsen, Kotab, and Nedved each drove in two runs for Wagner, Yost stole two bases, and Medricky and Kotab each had a walk. Wright was in the circle for the Red Raiders, striking out three and walking nine.
