The AC/DC Thunder traveled to Tyndall on Thursday, January 29, for a double-header and came away with a hardfought 26–23 victory over the Bon Homme Cavaliers.

The Thunder relied on strong defense and rebounding to secure the close win. Lily Muckey led the scoring with 13 points, while Halle Olson and Nakayah Long each added six. Olson controlled the boards with 12 rebounds, and Muckey followed with seven. Olson also dished out four assists, while Muckey picked up four steals on the night.

As a team, AC/DC shot 29 percent from the field, making 8 of 28 attempts, and went 7 of 11 from the free-throw line for 69 percent. The Thunder finished with 27 total rebounds but were hurt by 16 turnovers.

The win brings the Thunder’s season record to 2–13. In junior varsity action, the AC/DC JV also earned a win, defeating Bon Homme 20–11.
