THANKFUL FOR OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY
Wagner HS student council, under the direction of Tera Koupal, had another successful fund-raiser and Turkey Trot. The student council, with the help of the students and staff at Wagner Community School, were able to raise $791. With that money they purchased and delivered 13 prepared Thanksgiving meals to deserving families. Buche Foods prepared the meals and did a wonderful job.
To piggy back on the event, Thanksgiving morning the student council held a turkey trot where 29 runners participated. The entry fee for the Turkey Trot was a non-perishable canned good or a free will donation. Thanks to this event the Wagner Student Council was able to add a number of food items to the food pantry along with a check for $78.
