Haleigh Nicole Tjeerdsma, daughter of Hillary and Travis Tjeerdsma and Amber Babutzke, was born on June 6, 2004. Tjeerdsma has five younger brothers, Tyler, Thayne, and Tucker Tjeerdsma; and Sean and Nick Schryvers. She also has a younger sister Hudsyn. In her spare time, she likes to craft and play Stardew Valley with her brothers.

In school, Tjeerdsma’s favorite subject is history because “it has some interesting facts and we laugh a lot.” The most challenging task as a senior for Tjeerdsma is applying to colleges and for all the scholarships. She really enjoys being in drama and will always remember the time in drama practice when Caleb Wallinga tried jumping a 20-inch vertical block and missed it completely.
