Elite 14, Freeman 3 The Southeast Elite took on the Freeman Rebels Wednesday. In Game one, the Elite took a 14-3 win. The Elite scored one run in the first when Sidney Johnson walked, stole second, and then scored on a series of wild pitches. In the second, the Elite scored three runs on a two out rally. Lydia Lane started with a walk. Sydney and Harper reached on errors. Ashley Soukup and Whitley Wolf reached on an error and walked scoring one. Charlie Paulsen and Whitley followed with singles each scoring a run. In the 3rd Ashley reached on another error and advanced to 3rd where she was driven in on a groundout by Charli. In the 4th, the Elite scored two more on a couple of hits by Sydney and Macy Haynes. The Elite ended up adding 5 more in the fifth on a series of walks and errors. Harper Kracht went the distance, striking out 6 in four innings of work. Elite 10, Freeman 13 In game two, the Elite fell behind 10 - 0, battled back to get close but fell by a final score of 13-10. Leading hitters for the Elite were Harper with a single and double, Johanna Namminga with a double, Charli Paulsen added a double and Kodi Maggs had a single. Macy Haynes and Sydney Johnson were on the hill for the Elite. The Elite end the regular season with a record of 25-17.
