SOUTH DAKOTA LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER RECEIVES BASIC CERTIFICATION
PIERRE, S.D. - The South Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy graduated 43 officers from across the state on Friday, June 7, 2019. Jeremy Johnson of the Wagner Police Department was among the graduating class and is pictured with the Director of the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, David Natvig. All graduates of the basic course must complete a 13-week program. The basic certification course is overseen by the South Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy under the office of the Attorney General.
“On behalf of the law enforcement community and the people of the State of South Dakota, congratulations and job well done to the graduates of the 170th South Dakota Basic Training Academy,” said Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg. “Thank you to each and every one of you for your dedication to public service and I wish all of you the best of luck as you work to keep South Dakota safe.”
