Megan Soukup, of Wagner, swore in as the newest member of the South Dakota Army National Guard’s 155th Engineer Company during an enlistment ceremony at the Military Entrance Processing Station in Sioux Falls, Aug. 28.

Soukup is senior at Avon High School and will attend Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, followed by Advanced Individual Training. She will be assigned to the Wagner–based 155th En. Co. as a horizontal construction engineer when she returns from her training.
