This week’s high school “Pirate of the Week” is Sophi Paulsen. She is a 15-year-old sophomore with a life full of fun and laughter. Some of Sophi’s favorite things to do are to draw, play video games, and hang out with her cat. The best advice she has ever received is, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” If Sophi could travel anywhere in the world right now, she would choose to go to Disney World with her grandmother; she has always wanted to go there, and she doesn’t get to see her grandma very often. One of Sophi’s most memorable moments this year is making fun and goofy videos with her friend. When asked about her biggest inspiration, Sophi chose her mom because she is always positive and always there for her. When Sophi grows up, she thinks it would be cool to be a scientist.
