PSALMS 65:1`-3 " Praise waiteth for thee, O God in Sion: and unto thee the vow be performed. O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come. Iniquities prevail against me, as for our transgressions, Thou shalt purge them away."(KJV)

PSALM 79: 9 " Help us o God of our salvation, for the glory of Thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for Thy name"s sake."(KJV)

This scripture reference starts out with the word--praise, and then indicates to whom the praise is given--O God in Sion (heaven)

It speaks of a vow to be performed, this vow is a promise- -God has promised eternal life to all those He has saved and will save--This promise shall be performed.

We look forward to receiving it, but will actually have it at our death on this earth.

But a vow is a vow is a promise--A promise is made by us (those who are saved ) as we called out for our sin's forgiveness and God's mercy at the time of our salvation.

We look forward and expect God's promise will be fulfilled for us.

Now God expects us to fulfill the vow (promise) that we made to Him. We promised that He would be our Lord above all things and people. We promise to believe His Word (the Bible). We promise to love, honor and to Serve Him.

We opened ourselves to do His bidding and agreed to do His will His way.

Sometimes along the way temptation come upon us to not do as we promised and we sin against Him.

The scripture tells us that God will remove all our sin's punishments from us.

He gives us the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to help us along the way---to keep the promise we made the day and time we were gloriously saved.

We know that God will always keep His promises.

We must judge ourselves about how well we are keeping our promises to Him.

So how are you doing?
