The Preschool class at Avon School brought extra warmth and kindness to the season by taking part in the 16th Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive, a national project partnered with Scholastic. Each year, classrooms across the country collect brandnew pajamas to help support children served by Beyond Bedtime—and our youngest students were eager to join in.

With tiny hands carrying tiny pajamas, the preschoolers proudly added each donation to their growing collection. Families pitched in generously, and by the end of the drive, the class had gathered an impressive 20 pairs of cozy pajamas.

Fol lowing tradit ion, Scholastic has pledged to match every pair of donated pajamas with a brand-new storybook— up to 100,000 books—helping make bedtime a little brighter for children in need.

The pajamas collected locally will be donated to a nearby shelter, spreading comfort, compassion, and community spirit. For these preschoolers, it was a simple lesson in giving—but one that will warm hearts well beyond bedtime.
