This season, Jordyn recorded her 1,000th career dig, while Brielle reached 1,000 career assists — accomplishments that highlight both their individual talents and their close connection on the court.
For Jordyn Voigt, the 1,000-dig milestone shows years of effort, consistency, and determination on the court. “It’s a great honor,” Jordyn said. “You have to be prepared for everything to come.” She admitted that reaching this level hasn’t always been easy. “Everyone has ups and downs,” she said. “But those moments make you stronger and help you level up.”
A couple of games after Jordyn’s accomplishment, the team’s setter, Brielle Voigt, reached her 1,000-assist milestone through precision, trust, and leadership. “It shows that hard work pays off,” Brielle said. “Once you practice with your hitters so much, you get used to where they go.” Her ability to connect with teammates and keep the offense in line has been key to her success.
The Voigt sisters have shared the court for years, developing a chemistry that few teammates can match . “We knew we were going to support each other no matter what,” they said. “It feels great that we got to learn and grow together.” “We connect better because we’ve been playing together for a while,” Jordyn said. “We both have a want to win and to do good.” Brielle noted that her biggest challenge has been staying focused and consistent. “Getting the set where it needs to go and being ready for every play,” she said. After a tough loss the sisters rely on each other. “We talk about it and fix it at practice,” they said.
As their careers continue, both sisters hope to be remembered for more than their statistics. “As good teammates and role models,” they said. “You’re still on the same team at the end of the day.” They also credit their coaches and parents for setting high standards. “They hold us to high expectations they want us to do good,” Brielle said.
