SHRINE CIRCUS HITS THE CORN PALACE

With the school year coming to an end, students anticipated the arrival of elephants, acrobats and clowns! The Shrine Circus could be found at the World’s Only Corn Palace Monday through Wednesday, April 25-27.

A circus sports a variety of talents. It has been around since the 1700s, and has been in the Corn Palace over 50 years. The Shrine Circus is a traveling show that includes clowns, dogs, elephants, Arabian horses, camels, and ponies. There were also motorcycle riders in a cage, tightrope walkers, acrobats, and a man shot out of a cannon.

Mrs. Christena Voigt said, “They all put on great performances, and all my kids had fun!”
