“Sessions By The Lake” will once again return to the park at Wagner Lake beginning with the first of three follow up concerts to the “605 Unity Jam”. The first concert is on Thursday, August 1 starting at 6:30 and ending at 8:30. This concert series is a continuation of the unity message presented at the “Unity Jam” that was held in June at the Wagner Lake. A total of three different concerts will be held on the first three Thursday’s in August.
The evening will feature great music by “Uncle Roy and The Boys”, an “Indian Taco” food stand and a “Bean Bag Tournament”. Everyone attending the “FREE” event is encouraged to bring their lawn chair or blanket so they can sit around, relax and enjoy an evening of great live music, food and a little bean bag competition. The event will be held at the south west shelter area at Wagner Lake, which is near the play ground equipment so children can be easily monitored.
This event is part of the Unity Team’s effort to bring everyone in the community together at our most precious gem location and continue to help focus upon the important message of increasing our cultural awareness, understanding of others, acceptance and appreciation of all cultures. Come for the music, the food and the fellowship. Bring a friend, your family and your ear for good live music. Everyone who enjoys a good concert should make plans and get the dates recorded on their calendar so you do not miss out. The dates for the three concerts are August 1, 8 and 15 so get these dates on your “things to do” list and plan to attend.
