On Tuesday, May 10, Wagner’s athletes traveled to Gregory to take part in the Southeast South Dakota (SESD) track meet.

The girls team captured two first place finishes as Alcista Dion won the pole vault as she cleared a height of eight feet to claim the gold medal.

Ashlyn Koupal once again this year set a new personal record as well as tying the SESD record as she leapt to a height of 5’6”. Ashlyn is currently sitting at the top of class in A in South Dakota with this mark.

Shot Put: Emma Yost- 36’ 9 ¾” (2nd), Macy Koupal- 30’ 9” (7th)

Discus: Emma Yost- 108’ 3” (2nd)

High Jump: Kya Kjeldgaard- 4’8” (5th)

100 hurdles: Elizabeth Woods- 17.1 (2nd), Cadee Nelson- 18.8 (7th)

4x200 relay: Sabrina Kreber, Jessica Kocer, Kathryn Doom, Hazel Jensen- 2:07.7 (8th)

4x100 relay: Alcista Dion, Eve Zephier, Elizabeth Woods, Shalayne Nagel- 52.1 (4th)

300 hurdles: Elizabeth Woods- 50.5 (3rd)

200 Dash: Shalayne Nagel- 27.0 (3rd), Eve Zephier- 28.5 (7th)

The boys had one champion on the day and that was youngster Brayden Kreber as he popped off a long jump of 19’ ½” on his fourth and final jump.
