Kimberly Tolsma was born on June 11, 2004 and is the daughter of Jeff Tolsma and Misty Hanvey. She has two siblings, a sister and brother, Ashley and Beau Tolsma. Her favorite subject in school is anatomy. She likes anatomy because she thinks the human body is very interesting and complex. Kimberly’s most challenging task as a senior is deciding what she wants to do for the rest of her life at 18 years old and experiencing all of her “lasts” throughout the year. In her spare time, she enjoys volleyball and cheerleading for football and basketball. She also enjoys working at the nursing home in Tyndall on the weekends, and she loves boating, traveling, and trying new things. One quote that Kimberlylivesbyis“Whatever you do in life, do it with your whole heart or don’t do it at all.” Her favorite high school activities are all- state choir, football cheerleading, volleyball, and HOSA. One memory that Kimberly Tolsma will never forget during her time at AHS is playing high school sports, and going to Hawaii to sing in the USA Honors choir becauseherchoirteacher,Mrs. Schultz pushed her out of her comfort zone and helped her become the best she could be today.
