AL’SHAMON GUNTER
Al’Shamon James Gunter was born on December 20, 2007. His family members are his mom, Jamie, and his two brothers: the oldest, Aziah, and the youngest, Alvin. Al’s favorite subject in school is lunch because it makes his day—he loves food. His most challenging task as a senior is completing his core classes. In his spare time, when he is not doing schoolwork, Al likes to hang out with his friends and go hunting. His inspirational quote is, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t make.” Al’s favorite high school activities are sports, and his favorite memory, which is also his proudest moment, is winning the State Championship in his sophomore year. His role models are his parents because they push him to be the best he can be. AHS has prepared Al’Shamon to be responsible and to understand that his actions have consequences in any form. His future plans are to attend college and play football, while also studying business. His advice to younger generations is simple: “Do your work.” If he could do one thing over in his high school career, it would be to relive his freshman year of football with no regrets. What Al will miss most about AHS are his family, friends, and the memorable moments with the great people he has known throughout the years. He will especially miss playing high school football, his favorite sport.
