Macy Alicia Voigt is the daughter of Gregg and Christena Voigt, and the sister of Jordyn, Brielle, Tyson, and Riggs Voigt. Macy’s hobbies consist of sports such as volleyball and softball, hiking, and reading. When we asked Macy what her favorite subject is she replied, “English because there are many types of literature to read, to help gain knowledge and understanding.” When we asked what quote she lived by, she said, “You will never regret being kind.” Macy’s biggest role model is Kinzie Hanson, an Olympic athlete with a phenomenal work ethic. “I love that she uses her athletic and social platform to share her faith.” Macy said about Hanson. Macy’s advice for underclassmen is, “Be involved in everything; you will never look back and wish you participated in fewer clubs/sports.” Macy plans to continue her academic and athletic career after high school, but at this time is undecided on exactly what those plans will be. Macy’s favor ite A HS memories were spending each homecoming with her friends. Macy will most miss the underclassmen whom she will miss seeing every day.
