Maesa Leonne Kuhlman is the daughter of Dan and Teanna Kuhlman and the sister of Rance Kuhlman. She was born on September 5th, 2006. Maesa has many hobbies she enjoys: talking and hanging out with family and friends, spending time at the river, being active outside, going on long walks, reading, and learning new things. Her favorite subject is science because while it is more challenging, it is very applicable to the real world. Science is also very interesting and there is always so much more to learn and discover. When asking Maesa what quote she lives by she replied, “Life is not about who you once were, it's about who you are now and who you have the potential to be.”- Unknown. Her parents are her biggest role models because they show her the importance of hard work and how to be a kind, successful person. Maesa’s advice for the underclassman is: show up and try your hardest every day; you won’t regret it. Soak in all the time you have with your friends and teachers, as they are very important and gone before you know it. Make sure to enjoy high school and make lots of memories. Maesa has two accomplishments that she is most proud of during her time at AHS. The first was attending State HOSA and placing at the state level two years in a row, and the second accomplishment was making it to state track.
