Riley Alfred DeJong was born on July 28, 2005. His parents are Dean and Christa De-Jong, and his siblings include Jason and Rachael DeJong. Riley's favorite subject in school is shop class. He said “I love to build stuff”. He commented that the most challenging task as a senior is coming to school in the mornings. In his spare-time he likes to go to work at Bomgaar’s and hang out with friends. He also enjoys football, P.E, and welding class. One of Riley’s favorite memories is when he was running the 100m hurdles as a 6th grader and fell over one breaking his thumb. A quote he lives by is “It's hard to soar with eagles when you hang around chickens.”
