Senior Night,
This Senior Night we honored three seniors: Amelia Rathgeber, a senior from Bon Homme, Addison Cuka from Wagner, and Elizebeth Kotab, a manager from Wagner.
Amelia Rathgeber is a senior from Bon Homme. She has been with us for four years. She has been a joy to coach. She leads by example and kindness. Her kind heart and patient words are what makes the girls love her. It has been a joy to coach such a fun-loving, hardworking young lady. We will miss her next year! Best wishes at USD, Amelia!
Addison Cuka is a senior from Wagner. She has been with the team for six years. Addison has worked hard to lead the team on bars these past couple of years. In the gym, Addison can be found making others laugh, surviving near-death experiences, dancing, or helping a teammate. We will miss you, Addison! Best wishes at SDSU!
Libby Kotab has been our manager for the past two years. She has done a tremendous job keeping us organized and helping the girls every day. We have been blessed to have Libby as a member of our team. She has brought such joy to the gym. You can often find Libby helping girls at the events, finding my glasses or phone, and encouraging the team to keep going. We will miss you next year, Libby!
We would also like to thank all the parents of the girls on our team. These amazing young ladies are who they are because of you. Their work ethic, determination, their coachability, and how they treat others are qualities they exude because they are qualities you instilled in them. Thank you! Thank you for the support you give your daughter on the good and the bad days. Thank you for a great season!
We have two regular season meets left. Regions will be held in Vermillion the first weekend in February. Please keep these young ladies in your prayers and positive thoughts for a healthy and productive last few weeks of practice and competitions.
Let’s finish strong ladies!!
This senior night meet concludes the season for our junior varsity team. We will miss the joy and laughter these young ladies bring in the gym daily. These young ladies continued to work hard and gain new skills the very last day of practice. Even though we were missing Emeri Freidel due to an injury, they sure had fun competing and all made improvements!! Thank you for a great season ladies!
