SD 4-H TEAMS SWEEPS COMPETITION AT WESTERN NATIONAL ROUND UP IN DENVER, CO.
“South Dakota 4-H Teams Sweeps the competition at the Western National Round Up in Denver, CO. Several 4-H members represented South Dakota at Western Nation Round Up in Denver Colorado this past week. South Dakota youth-in-action teams must qualify at the state level before attending the WNR in Denver. Bon Homme County 4-H had 6 members that qualified including: Arryanna Schnetzer, Lila Stutzman, Madalynn Stutzman, Hayden Talsma, Hensley Talsma and Tarynn Torsney. Angela Schnetzer, was also the quiz bowl teams coach. Coaches are volunteers that are usually active parents in the chosen events. The most unique part of this year’s competition is that a Bon Homme County 4-H member was on every team! A huge THANK YOU to the SD Livestock Industry Fund for sponsoring these teams and ensuring they had adequate money for travel and food.
