Another Pirate Science Fair is coming upon us on Tuesday, February 15. Kids grades 6-9 will show off their science projects in the Avon auxiliary gym.

Before the projects are open to the public, guest judges from the community and Mr. Paul Kuhlman’s former students will judge which projects receive awards.

First place receives $100; second place receives $75; and third place receives $50. In total, the Avon science department hands out about $2000. There are also agricultural awards that are sponsored by the Avon Farmers Elevator.

“Super excited for another year! Hope to see you there,” said Kuhlman, Avon High School science teacher.
