THE SCHULTZ CREW MAKE HUGE PROGRESS ON DAMAGE REPAIR FROM MAY DERECHO
The Derecho storm that swept through Avon in May, left damage and ruble in it's wake. In town, the Avon football/track buildings took a big hit. Since the storm, Terry and Nathan Schultz have been hard at work to get the buildings back in working order before the football season begins.
The concession and eating area shelter roofs are now repaired. The crew has started to construct the press box and parking garage for buses and are hoping to have it near completion for Avon's first Friday night lights. The score board will not arrive in time for the first game, however, the school is looking for a temporary one to get them by until the new one arrives.
Floor Tec out of Yankton locked in the bid to repair the inside of the concession building, they have already tore the old remains out and will begin the process of restoring it back to it's original form.
A huge thank you to Terry and Nathan Schultz for all your hard work!
