Sara Hento of Avon, was one of four finalists named in the Remarkable Women Contest of Keloland. Sara was nominated by her husband, Tanner Hento. Her main mission in South Dakota is to help rural communities.

Following the aired special Sara said, "I was incredibly surprised to be nominated for the Keloland Remarkable Women award by Tanner and my peers from law school. I am grateful for the opportunity to showcase female leadership in rural South Dakota. I hope the nomination inspires other young women to seek leadership opportunities in their rural communities and to strive to build strong rural communities that prosper for years to come. Leadership doesn't have to come from big, bold activities or organizations. It can come from simple, day to day events such as mentoring others, asking for a seat at the table on committees, or taking the initiative to start a new endeavor in your local community."
