Wagner Rotary gathered at their Main Street location on Wednesday, November 2 for their weekly meeting. A warm welcome was given by President Rachel Woods followed by a prayer she wrote especially for the club.

WCS Senior guests were Matthew Link and Colby Krcil. They introduced themselves and gave a summary of their present classes and their future. Matthew Link is the son of Craig and Jackie Link, and his future includes attending Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Colby Krcil is the son of Travis and Jenna Krcil, and he plans on attending Mitchell Technical Institute and taking their business courses. President Rachel has been keeping a tally on where the 2023 students are going for higher education and the winners are the Technical Schools in the State of South Dakota.

Song Leader Jeff Doom made it easy for everyone and led the members in singing “Smile” which is a long time Rotary favorite.

There was no Membership Minute for the day so Sergeant at Arms Jordan Weber went directly to his fines: $2 to Jerry Henke for calling Jordan a “Kingpin”; $2 to Jerry again for giving Jordan a $20 bill and asking for change; $2 to Bryan Slaba for being our HVAC man at the Rotary building; and another $2 for whining about the girls that didn’t care for him in high school; $2 went to Craig Krsnak for talking about American Bandstand on Saturday mornings on TV; $2 to Jamie Soukup for improvising some strategic spots on his Halloween costume; Happy Fines came from only Jeff Doom for $2 because “he woke up this morning.”

Joe Stedronsky held the winning ticket from the can and tried to find the Queen of Hearts in an almost brand-new deck of cards. He did find a Joker which was worth $10 to him.

Secretary/Treasurer Craig Krsnak reported that the Queen of Hearts drawing is up to $120.00 already. Jordan Weber and Jamie Soukup’s attendance teams have nine and seven misses respectively.

Football book winners were Bernie Koupal sold by Becky Brunsing and Julie Doom sold by Jeff Doom The program chairperson for the meeting was Rotarian Amanda Bechen who gave a very informative update on the 30 x 30 land grab. The American Stewards of Liberty recently held a Stop 30x30 Summit on Earth Day, April 22,2022 which was a very important event for the property rights’ movement. There were local, state, and national leaders from twenty-two states meeting in Lincoln, Nebraska all of whom are working to protect our nation from an Administration determined to fundamentally change the American landscape through 30x30. There are a great many things going on in the background of our elected officials that are detrimental to all United States citizens. It is every citizens’ responsibility to inform themselves about programs and agendas that are being advanced to deny citizens their rights.

Our Founding Fathers warned us this could happen which is why they placed important provisions in our Constitution, such as the separation of powers which precluding those powers from being concentrated in the hands of a few. One of the essential principles was ensuring that the land and natural resources were owned by the people. This would forever make the government beholden to the citizens instead of the citizens beholden to the government. One of most important principles of private property was that the people would own their own land, support their communities, and raise their families.

Monopolies were formed a long time ago by driving out competition in finances and politics by “Robber Barons”. The Carnegies, Rockefellers, Vanderbilts, Harrimans, Morgan’s and many others whose names are prominent in today’s news and finances are among them. Environmental organizations are once again using preservation as a means of preserving our wealth, power, and resources. Large livestock companies were used to compete with the small landholders who overgrazed the land and made it impossible for settlers to survive. When this tactic failed, they began a campaign for the western lands by creating huge National Parks, such as Yellowstone in Wyoming and then the Sierra Club with Yosemite National Park in California.

Later along came the creation of several national forests which was in the form of a congressional bill without identifying who actually inserted the language into the bill. More than two hundred bills to designate forest reserves have been offered to Congress over the twenty- year period prior to 1891. The elites managed to destroy timber rights which led to our many national forests currently managed by the US Forest Service. The first Chief of these Forest Services was a forester at Vanderbilt’s Biltmore Estate in North Carolina.

There are some of the world’s richest people today urging us to eat synthetic beef while acquiring millions of acres of farmland in America. One buyer owns farmland that stretches across nineteen states and is valued at nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars. Bill Gates is one of the leading voices against raising cows and has invested tens of millions of dollars in plant-based meat companies.

Jeff Bezos wants the government to control our land. He is the founder of Amazon and has pledged to donate $10 Billion to fight the climate crisis with the Bezos Earth Fund. This “Fund” is to implement the 30x30 agenda to permanently protect 30 percent of the world’s land and water by 2030. The Bezos Fund has made a $30 million dollar grant to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation which is a key US nonprofit organization created by Congress and has been given the task of accomplishing the 30x30 project. Bezos has also amassed 420,00 acres in Texas to become the 26th largest private landholder in America.

Environmental Land Trusts are another group that many people can identify with: Have you been approached to put some of your land into a conservation easement for a one-time tax break?

The farmers and ranches in the Netherlands are in a full revolt right now. The climate Czars are shutting down their industry. If you’ve read about it or heard it on TV, the EU Natura 200 program has determined that nitrogen oxide negatively impacts plants. The Netherland Parliament passed laws restricting nitrogen requiring their nations farms to dramatically reduce their livestock herds by half, effectively putting them out of business. The Dutch government apparently believed the claims made by the preservation community. They were promised a program that would conserve the land while helping working landowners stay in business. They would be helped by a food delivery business called “Picnic” if the nation is no longer able to produce its own food. Bills Gates is a partner in this Natura program. The Natura program is very similar to that being advanced by the 30x30 Biden Administration program.

What is the end goal of all these projects. Control. Property is power. If people own their land, they can provide the necessities for food and shelter, for their communities and families. If the government powers are in control, they control what we eat where we live. What we do, who we serve, and what we own.
