On Wednesday, January 12th, Becky Brunsing rang the bell to bring the meeting to order. Guests were introduced, Alaina Bechen, guest and daughter of Amanda Bechen. Pastor Laurie led the group in prayer.
Laurie Kidd led the group in signing Clementine and Viva Rotary.
Ken Cotton gave a membership minute from the Rotary ABC booklet.
Fill in Sergeant of Arms, Jordon Weber had a page full of fines:
- Bryan Slaba $5 for his beach time comment.
- Jerry Weber $2 for hauling corn.
- Jamie Soukup, $2 for wearing his USD apparel.
- Gerrit Juffer, Craig Krsnak and Ken Cotton, $2 each for USD alumni.
- Jerry Henke and Jamie Soukup $1 each for being the waiters and serving the meals.
- Jeff Doom $5 for vacation
- Joe Stedronsky, Gerrit Juffer, Kathy and Jerry Henke $1 each for talking about the good ole days at Randall Hills Country Club.
- Becky Brunsing $2 for not figuring out Jerry was gone when Jordan was sitting right beside her.
- Jerry Henke $2 for forgetting to pay for his wife for the queen of hearts.
- Becky Brunsing $2 for the quietest bell ring in history.
- Pastor Laurie $2 for the Clementine song.
Guest Alaina Bechen drew her own ticket and drew for the queen of hearts but drew the two of hearts.
Secretary Treasurer Report by Craig Krsnak stated the queen of hearts is up to $281.00. Steak dinner will be next week, with the Rachel Woods attendance team paying for those meals.
There was no program this week, so club discussion and fellowship followed.
The meeting closed with the club reciting the Four Way Test together.
