A walk-off single led the Wagner Red Raiders past the Scotland/ Menno Trappers 8-7 on Friday May 19th. The Red Raiders were down 7-6 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Ravyn Medricky singled on a 1-0 count, scoring the winning run.

Wagner had nine hits in the game. Emma Yost led Wagner with four hits in her four at bats. The slugger racked up two doubles and two singles. Lydia Yost tallied a triple and a single. Braxton Nedved had a nice shot to right center to contribute a double. R. Medricky and Libby Kotab each singled on the day.

L. Yost got the win for the Wagner Red Raiders. The fireballer went seven innings, allowing seven runs on 12 hits and striking out 12.

The bats blistered as the Wagner JV collected 12 hits and Scotland/ Menno tallied five in the high-scoring game. Wagner JV came away with the win, defeating the Trappers 13-6.

Brooklin Nielsen had three singles at three at bats. Mia Dion and Mara Wright added two singles a piece on the night. Ravyn Medricky had an in the park grand slam as well as a single for Wagner. Hannah Holzbauer, Braxton Nedved, and Angel Zephier each added a hit.

Mara Wright started the game for Wagner pitching two innings. She allowed two runs on two hits, striking out two. Braxton Nedved pitched the remaining three innings allowing four runs on three hits, striking out three.

Wagner wrapped up their regular season seeded 8th with an 8-5 record. The SoDak 16 game will be Tuesday May 23rd at home against Elk Point Jefferson at 5:00. Come on out and cheer on your Lady Red Raiders.
