THE RED RAIDERS SUFFER THEIR SECOND LOSS

The Red Raiders suffered their second loss on the season pushing their overall record to 6-2. By a score of 38-6 verses Tri-Valley. Some costly mistakes by the Raiders took some points off the board for ourselves and lack of execution gave Tri-Valley good starting field position far too often.

There is not much to talk about offensively or defensively as the Raiders lacked production on both sides of the ball. However, I would like to take this week to talk about our group of seniors. Friday night was senior night. A night for senior parents and their players to be recognized. This group of seniors is very notable. The teams success this year in large because of this group and they will be dearly missed. Not only in physical aspects on the field but mentally and emotionally as well. They are a fine group of young men that understand what it takes to get the best out of each other. They all lead in their own ways! They are a special group. At the conclusion of the game you could see tears in the eyes of several of those senior players. This is because of everything they have poured into the season and the program! Being unsure if they just played their last game at Nedved Bich Stadium.

Around 12:30 am following the game we got word we won a three way tie for the 8th seed. Which presents us the opportunity to host a home playoff game. Those seniors boys get to play at home at-least one more time!

We will see you Thursday night at 6 p.m.
