The Wagner Red Raiders secured the victory, 22-2, Tuesday night against the Avon Lady Pirates when they scored 13 runs in the first inning. Emma Yost, Braxton Nedved, Brylie Link, Hannah Holzbauer, Mia Dion, and Lydia Yost all had RBIs in the box.

Wagner totaled 13 hits on the night. E. Yost led the way with four hits at four at bats, racking up a double and three singles. Sydney Cournoyer, M. Dion, B. Link, and L. Yost all contributed two singles a piece along with a double from Ravyn Medricky.

L. Yost was credited with the victory for the Wagner Red Raiders. As the pitcher, she allowed five hits and two runs over four innings, striking out six and walking one.

The Raiders tore up the base paths recording six stolen bases. E. Yost threw a rocket to Libby Kotab catching a girl stealing at second base, for a nice out in the bottom of the first.

The Wagner JV softball team won a close contest against Avon Tuesday night. The score teeter tottered each inning, but Wagner came out on top, winning 10-9. Ravyn Medricky led the girls going two for two at the plate, tallying a triple and a single. The girls drew 18 walks on the night. Brooklin Neilsen led Wagner with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases. Mara Wright was in the circle for the Red Raiders. She got the win striking out five and walking seven.

The Wagner Red Raiders will start their post-season run-on Tuesday May 23rd with opponent and location unknown. Come cheer on the Lady Red Raiders!
