The Wagner JV avenged a loss from last season on Tuesday night as the defeated the Knighthawks 44-24. The Red Raiders held TDA to just 1 first quarter point and led 23-11 at the half. The Knighthawks never gave up and cut into the lead in the third quarter closing the gap to 28-20 but a strong offensive performance in the final period allowed Wagner to seal the victory. Jesse Zephier led the way with 15 points, Joey Cournoyer scored 14, Parker Petry added 7, Preston McFayden, Frank Soukup, Brady Cournoyer, and Braxton Knudsen each scored 2. Wagner’s JV team is now 12-3 on the season.
