The Wagner boys JV continued their winning ways on Tuesday in O’Neill Nebraska. Much like Monday night it was Wagner’s fourth quarter defense that helped them win the game. Wagner was tied 1414 with O’Neill after 1 quarter and trailed 24-21 at half time. O’Neill held a 37-32 lead heading into the final period before Wagner outscored them 8-3 to get a 43-40 victory. Parker Petry led the team with 10 points, Preston McFayden added 9, Joey Cournoyer and Braxton Knudsen each scored 8, Hunter Lhotak 6 and Gabe Houseman 2. Wagner’s JV is now 8-1 on the season.
