RAIDERS SHUT OUT CHAMBERLAIN 33-0 TO ADVANCE IN PLAYOFFS

The Wagner Red Raiders opened their playoff run in dominant fashion Thursday night, shutting out the Chamberlain Cubs 33-0 on their home field.

Quarterback Gannon Knebel led the Raiders’ offense with a stellar performance, completing 11 of 13 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 120 yards and three more scores. His versatility and command kept the Cubs’ defense off balance all night.

Shea Kjeldgaard hauled in 61 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Cruise Koupal added 82 yards receiving and a touchdown. On the ground, Javian Pesicka provided steady support with 85 rushing yards, helping the Raiders control the tempo throughout the game.

Defensively, Wagner’s effort was relentless. Knebel added eight tackles on defense, Carlos Galindo recorded four, and Trasin Dilts tallied five. Brayden Kreber made a key impact with a sack and three tackles, helping secure the shutout victory.

With the 33-0 win, the Raiders advance to the next round of the playoffs continuing their strong postseason push. Second round of playoffs will be held in Deuel with kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
