The Lady Raider volleyball team was in action on Tuesday, September 13th and took on the Avon Lady Pirates. The Raiders came away with the win with scores of 25-11, 25-11, and 25-15.

Leading the offense were seniors Emma Yost with 12 kills, Avari Bruguier 8 kills, and Shalayne Nagel 7. Junior setter Macy Koupal dished out 28 assists in the victory. At the service line Bruguier racked up 14 points, M. Koupal had 13 points/6 aces, E. Yost served 8 points and Madi Knebel added 7 points/4 aces. In the back court E. Yost scrapped for 7 digs while Nagel and M. Koupal each added 5 apiece. Up at the net Kya Kjeldgaard put up 2 blocks while Shona Kocer and E. Yost each tallied 1 on the night.

Wagner JV won their match with scores of 2518 and 25-15. Ashlyn Koupal led all hitters with 6 kills while Aubrey Medricky, McKenzie Fuchs, and Jessie Gutierrez all had 3. Lydia Yost tallied up 11 assists and Braxton Nedved added 7 of her own. L. Yost served 10 points/3 aces and Fuchs added 8 points/4 aces in the win. Defensive leaders were A. Koupal and Medricky each picking up 5 digs while L. Yost added 4. Fuchs led all blockers with 2 and A. Koupal put up 1 in the match.

Wagner C team battled and picked up a nice win with scores of 31-29, 25-17, and 15-12. Ravyn Medricky and Shana Lensing both threw down 5 kills in the win. Nedved and Hayden Fisher distributed the ball 11 and 9 times to their hitters. Nedved led all servers with 13 points/4 aces and Gutierrez added 7 points/3 aces. Libero Libby Kotab was all over the court and had 33 digs in the match. R. Medricky was a wall at the net earning 4 blocks.
