RAIDERS DOMINATE MILLER/HIGHMORE/HARROLD 52-0

The Wagner Red Raiders put on a commanding performance Friday night at home, shutting out Miller/Highmore/Harrold with a 52-0 victory.

Quarterback Gannon Knebel led the charge with an impressive 143 yards passing for two touchdowns and added 149 rushing yards on just seven carries, scoring two more times on the ground. Payne Petry contributed on both sides of the offense with 56 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with 45 receiving yards. Javian Pesicka added 45 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Shea Kjeldgaard hauled in 77 receiving yards and a score.

Cruise Koupal added a 17-yard rushing touchdown, and Slaten Podzimek found the end zone on a 25-yard play as the Raiders’ offense racked up 410 total yards and eight touchdowns on the night.

Defensively, Trasin Dilts stood out with a fumble recovery, two tackles, and one sack. Cruise Koupal also added a sack to the Raiders’ defensive effort that kept Miller/Highmore/ Harrold scoreless.

The Red Raiders’ dominant win adds another strong showing to their season as they continue their push toward postseason play.
