QUEEN CONTEST JUDGES
Dr. Carolyn Geis grew up in Wolsey. She is the Area Veterinary Supervisor for the southeast region of South Dakota based out of Mitchell.
Erika (Arpan) Tordsen grew up in Wagner and graduated from Wagner High School in 2012. She currently lives in Sioux Falls with her husband Tyler and two dogs. She works as a Digital Strategist for The First National Bank in Sioux Falls and has been involved with the Queen contest numerous times, ranging from contestant to emcee and now judge. She’s proud to see what the Queen contest can do for the young women in our community. Erika loves sports, going to the movies, and working on creative projects.
Jacquie Jenkins has lived in Fairmont, Minnesota for the last 13 years with her husband. She works for Good Samaritan Society, and is currently the DNS here in Wagner. Jacquie has been a volunteer with the Miss Minnesota, Miss America pageants for the past 16 years. Jacquie has judged pageants in many states, SD, ND, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan. This upcoming December she will be attending her 11th Miss America pageant in Connecticut, to cheer on Miss Minnesota. Besides being a volunteer for the Miss Minnesota pageant, Jacquie is a huge Nascar fan, and she and her husband sponsor a race team in Abingdon Virginia. She has two children and six grandchildren.
