PROM BENEFITS FROM LOCAL DONATION

By
Kimberly Tolsma

Sometimes finding help is like pulling teeth. Three weeks ago, however, fortune smiled on the junior class in the form of a donation.

The donation consisted of 20 pounds of hamburger and 5 pounds of already made tavern meat. With this donation, it will alleviate a lot of the stress on the junior class parents because they are the ones in charge of cooking and making the tavern meat for all of the home basketball games. “We are truly blessed that our community supports all of our activities and, although we don’t know who the contributor is, we are very grateful.” said prom advisor Connie Gretschmann.

The junior class would like to give a big thank you to the “good Samaritan” that donated the meat. It will help them in the future with the expenses of prom and class costs.
