The Pirates were on the road Friday night to take on Alcester/Hudson where they suffered the tough loss 26-48. The first quarter found the Pirates only 2 points (6-8), after Aziah Meyer's 2 yard run. The second quarter had Aziah Meyer adding another 6 points to the scoreboard after a 68 yard run, but the team allowed their opponent to score three touchdowns which had the Pirates down to end the half 12-28. The final quarters found Noah Watchorn with a 5 yard run for the touchdown and Aziah Meyer scoring his third touchdown for the night and the successful 2-point conversion. Alcester/ Hudson also added to the scoreboard as they added three more touchdowns to take the win as the Pirates were down 26-48. Aziah Meyer led the rushing with 26 attempts, 208 yards and 3 touchdowns. Tyler Tjeerdsma had 8 attempts for 32 yards, Noah Watchorn had 6 attempts, 31 yards and 1 touchdown. On the defense, Terran Talsma had 4 tackles and 5 assists, Al'Shamon Gunter had 4 tackles and 5 assists, Tyler Tjeerdsma had 3 tackles and 1 assist, Paxton Bierema had 2 tackles and 5 assists, Trace Pelton had 2 tackles and 1 sack, Randall Powers had 2 tackles, 2 assists and a sack, Aziah Meyer had 1 tackle and 1 assist, Landon Mudder had 1 tackle and 2 assists, Landon Thury had 5 assists.
