The Avon Lady Pirates traveled to Corsica Tuesday, February 21st for Region play against Corsica/Stickney. The girls played a great game but suffered the tough loss 30-42 to end their season.

Lila Vanderlei led the scoring attack with 12 points, Courtney Sees had 11 points, 5 assists and 2 steals, and Macy Voigt chipped in 3 points.

Rilyn Thury pulled down 10 rebounds and had 5 steals, McKenna Kocmich had 4 rebounds for the night. Kaeli Wallinga had 3 assists.

The team was 25% from the field with 14 of 55, 10% for 3-point attempts with 2 of 19, 33% for 2-point attempts with 12 of 36. They committed 15 turnovers for the night.
