Avon hosted the undefeated Alcester/ Hudson Cubs Friday night andwelcomedBradyBieremaback to the line up. The first few plays hadBieremaanxiouslyawaitingto get on the field and be part of the action and when he hit the field, he came to play and quickly went to work to help his team.

With 6:20 on the clock in the first quarter, Paxton Bierema completed a pass to Terran Talsma for 10 yards and a touchdown. The two-point conversion run by Paxton Bierema was good. With only :52 left in the first quarter, Brady Bierema ran for 24 yards and a touchdown!

In the second quarter, Paxton Bieremaaddedanothertouchdown to scoreboard with a 2-yard run. The 2-point conversion run by Landon Mudder was good.

The Pirates went into half time in the lead with a score of 22-6. In the third quarter Paxton Bierema would add to this lead with a 60 yard run for a touchdown. The third quarter ended with Avon on top 28-20 as they allowed two touchdowns by the Cubs.

The fourth quarter found Paxton Bierema in the end zone again witharunfor64yardsandatouchdown followed by a successful 2-point conversion run by Paxton.

The Pirates offense ran for a total of 453 yards to the Cubs 254. TheCubsledinpassingyardswith 132 yards to Avon's 20. Avon led in rushing with 433 yards to the Cubs 122.
