Pheasant season opened on Saturday morning. Shooting is allowed from 10 a.m. until sunset for the entire season. Three rooster pheasants are allowed each day, with a possession limit of 15 roosters total, it is illegal to shoot hens. The Fathke's had 20 hunters for their annual pheasant hunt. They have hunters (friends) come up from Texas, Colorado and Nebraska. The first day they got 14, and on Sunday they shot 32 birds.
